UPDATES NOTICE: ALL MUST READ
Hey guys, so becoming admin was totally unexpected and I've been working really hard to keep this place, as well as my own group, up to date and clean and active and so on. But it's a lot of work, even when I have the wonderful Leila. So I'd like you to help us out:
ONE If your account was deleted after the Activity Check, all you have to do is rejoin and PM one of us so we can take your character(s) out of the adoption board.
TWO Please be aware of the number of female characters being created. You are technically limited to three, but if you were to make a few more males characters I could let it slide.
THREE Check the adoption board and make sure you don't have characters in there by mistake. On the opposite end, if there are characters in the accepted board that should be in the adoption board, notify me or another admin/mod immediately.
FOUR If you have not already signed up you MUST have your character[s] entered in our Tracker Thread by the end of the month or else you will be deleted. This thread helps us Admins keep track of whom is whom, and how many characters each person has. The rules were set by the old admins and need to be maintained accordingly. I apologize if this upsets or becomes an inconvenience to anyone.
FIVE I want to give this site a good cleaning, so I suggest you make a note somewhere in all current threads (IC & OOC; meaning plot charts, role plays, albums, journals, etc.) by the end of the month that you want to keep them. All threads without some sort of saving notification will be removed.
SIX If your character is in need of a personalized title such as [Servants] Stable Boy, or [Royalty] English Princess. PM me immediately the names of your character[s], and their Title/Position.
SEVEN Please check the face claims/canon thread and help us to keep it up to date with all of the correct information.
EIGHT New plot ideas for the site, canons and the like are welcome at any time. I think it would do the site a lot of good to have a more encompassing plotline. Please feel free to PM us at any time with your ideas.

RULES UPDATE
Please take note that a couple of rules have been updated/changed.
You are now only required to meet a minimum of TWO paragraphs per post, as opposed to three. Paragraphs should never be less than six sentences. Please bear in mind that this change is in effort to get more people posting. Posts should be QUALITATIVE; meaning: even if your post is only twelve sentences, it should be the best twelve sentences your role play partner could ever hope to read (maybe not that great, but you get the point). Do not get lazy just because you can get away with less.
Also, take note that the profile "password" has been changed. Make sure you get around to reading the new password for future profile creation.
Last, I want all of you to be aware that our current leniency for sexual content in posts may have to change due to the proboards terms of service. The issue is currently being [lightly - by this I mean, awaiting an admin to give final word on the matter] debated upon. Should a change occur, it will result in no posting of the dirty deed whatsoever. You can -probably- go as far as characters getting naked, fade to black, contently lying in bed after. Again, this has not yet been settled, and ultimately not a HUGE deal (although I think stifling creative writing in any way is a dick move) I just wanted to let y'all know that this might happen.

FORUM UPDATE: DON'T PANIC!
Ladies and Gents!
As I am sure you may have noticed, the site is going through some changes. I just wanted to give you a heads up that this is only the beginning. There are going to be some more changes in the site's appearance as well as how the place runs, the rules, the plot and several other things. Most of it will derive from reorganization and cleaning (i.e. deleting) stuff up around the place.
Rest assured myself and those who volunteer to help (Meg) are going to be working as fast as possible to make the transition smooth and not scary.
So... Just letting you know that it will be okay. In fact, things will be fantastic. And with any luck we will get a flood of new members and make this place as active as it used to be!
I know the forum is a little wonky right now, but just bear with me and it should be right as rain VERY soon.

RULES & POSTING
As some of you may have noticed, the rules have been updated and somewhat changed. It would be in your best interest to give them a quick read-through. The profile password has not changed and is still hidden in the rules. If you need help understanding it, just send me a PM and I'll tell you how it works.
We now have a minimum word count. I have installed a word counter that is viewable underneath the post reply, preview, spell check, and reset buttons. Two hundred words for all in character posts UNLESS they are in the correspondence board. Notes and Letters can be as long or as short as you'd like.

CLEANING UP
Please excuse the possible chaos as I clean up the boards, delete accounts, and update things. I want to try to get this done without having to put the group into maintainence mode so roleplaying can continue without delay.
If I accidentally move a thread into the archives that does not belong there, delete your face claims or recent reservations, basically if I screw up, let me know and I will fix it to the best of my abilities.

ORGANIZED
As you can see, things have been cleaned up.
1. Inactive accounts were deleted - please make sure all of yours are accounted for.
2. Character profiles whose owners did not respond to the activity check were moved to the archives - please make sure I did not move yours by mistake. ALSO, if you do not even have a profile up, you need to make one immediately.
3. Face claims have been updated - please make sure your claims are up.
4. Canon list has been updated - please make sure your canons do not appear to be up for grabs.
5. Plot pages have been cleared out - please make sure I did not accidentally move yours to the archives.
6. Old threads were moved to the archives - please make sure I did not move something by mistake and/or if you would like to have a thread back, PM me to move it back into the main boards.
7. Tracker thread has been re-done - please make sure your characters are listed and that you help keep it up to date.

WEE UPDATES
1. The Masquerade has begun!
2. New spotlight nominations/voting will happen toward the end of the month, so get roleplaying!
3. The next activity check is scheduled for JUNE. Date to be determined, but there will be reminder emails.
4. Please check the new tracker thread and make sure you and all of your characters are listed.
5. On a more personal note... School's out for summer and my play will come to an end on the 13th, so I should be posting a little more regularly quite soon! So y'all best get back here for some serious gaming! ^_^
