SINNERS && SAINTS
sinners. my sinner is the young prince einersson, all of seventeen years old. arranged to be married at the age of sixteen, he said absolutely unequivocally no. if arranged, he would not agree. if the date was set, he would not show up, thoroughly vetoing the idea. several weeks later kristian would find his father in his royal sitting room, burning the young prince's journals, the prince's prized work and lifetime achievement. he ruined his hands attempting to save them, and his soul - everything that had been good about him - went with the books. he is now cold, detached and manipulative, with a morbid sense of humor but a very well bred intelligence and elegance. he knows now his position is no different than that of a servant; he was born to serve and do what he is told, but unlike traditional servitude he cannot walk away from the job. he only has 'social friends', the ones he was forced to make contact with and entertain, because really he doesn't make a very good friend. the same applies for love, or lack there of. the prince has never had a relationship last longer than a night.
RELATIONSHIPS none yet
saints. our saint, on the other hand, is none other than my beloved french servant, mr. william andre christofer, he is twenty-two years of age, completely blind but a lifelong piano prodigy, the one thing saving him from destitution. he has by now memorized the castle layout like the keys on his piano, so although anything but co-dependent his self confidence is in the cellar. he lives with the chastity of a monk, and his social life is non-existant. he has not been off of castle grounds since his arrival those years ago. he is very much aware of his social standing in the palace and the last thing mr. christopher might be found doing is attempting to be more than he is. he keeps to his own and is disgusted by the idea of having to deal with one like himself, being at the root of his low self-esteem. the closest he's come to a romantic relationship was being kidnapped on his twenty-first birthday by a courtesan who had taken it upon herself to relieve him of his virginity. he has a brilliantly sharp mind from being unconventionally hyper-observant, hearing the details of new policy and local government over other conversation and listening through the door to the evening literature readings to palace families, rendering him socially decent and regally articulate to anyone that bothers to get to know him.
RELATIONSHIPS none yet
with the trickle of new members, I thought I might as well get the ball rolling by throwing my boys into the ring. although I don't have any specific ideas in mind for either of them at the moment, or plotting suggestions, I would love to hear ideas from everyone else, if you're interested at all in threadding with Wil or Kris. reply here with your ideas or drop me a PM and I'll be more than happy to get started!

KRIS & ANASTASIA: Ok, so I was thinking that the two could definately know each other and maybe they aren't friends but they relate to each other in a sense that both hate the idea of getting married when they're not ready. After he rejected her advances a couple of times, she finds him to be intriuging and whenever the two are together she tries to make conversation. She's determined to get past his shell and learn some more about him. And has made it a goal in a sense to get him to pen up to her.
WILL & ANASTASIA: She has met him only a few times but finds herself drawn to him. He's mysterious and although most other people treat him like crap because he's just a servent, she's made it a point to try to speak to him like a normal human being. He's another guy who intruiges her and she wants to learn more about. She finds something about him to be captivating and she wants to get to know him more. But while, she just wnats to get to know Kris, she finds herself attracted to Will in a way. She's not madly in love with him, but she does think he's handsome and sweet. And she likes how he's blind because she can talk to him without him knowing who she really is.
Feel free to add to what I've posted or scratch what I wrote and suggets something else. I love plotting so whatever you decide will be fine with me!

kris&ana reading her application, I was thinking she'd definitely interest Kris. maybe someone with a shared cynisism for the royal lifestyle could finally get him to open up. but not before attempting to get her to dislike him, and I think that banter would be really fun to play out. and if she actually managed to get him to step outside his little facade, even briefly, I think he'd freak out and go back to where they began. lots o great drama there :]]
wil&ana aw, wil could definitely use a titled friend. haha, I think it'd be a lot of fun at wil's expense to play out an attraction from ana toward him, because with his lowlow confidence he'd remain completely obtuse over the matter until someone actually told him that the grand duchess was attracted to him, leading to a lot of embarrassment and awkwardness on his part. I think he'd probably try to distance their relationship if he ever found out, knowing that he's no good for her and afraid of becoming too attached himself. lots of great emotions and drama to play out there :]]
aaand that's just how I imagine kris&will reacting to the ideas you presented. if you have anything else in mind, please share! I'd love to thread with ana, and it sounds like either (or both!) would be great to play out. I can't wait to get started!
